The Garden
Nestled in a hidden five acre valley, the garden is
truly the heart of Nanga Gnulle... |
|

The Creators
Nanga Gnulle (say "nanga nully") gardens has been
created by Peg and Rob Green (the current owners) and their family.
Living here over 30 years they had a vision to create
a garden of peace & tranquility. The perfect ambience for people
to rest, work, celebrate or just retreat from the busyness of life:
a place of beauty where one is tempted to linger for a while. |
Awards
In 1990 and 1992 the garden won the major prize in the Bendigo
Garden Competition and for several years has participated in the Australian
Open Garden Scheme. |

The Plants
The garden now consists of a pleasant blend
of indigenous trees and shrubs, together with natives from
other parts of Australia, roses, perennial flowering plants typical
of the cottage gardens of the area and a few less familiar exotics
of interest. It is truly a garden for all seasons but the colorful
peaks come in Spring and Autumn. |
Features
Interest is created by the rolling topography, the
water features - the stream, waterfalls, ponds and fountain, the stonework
and the paths and walkways. |
