Bendigo’s premiere garden wedding venue for that special day in your life.
Have your ceremony in the gardens or in our sanctuary chapel and celebrate with family and friends.
• Our Wedding Season is from September to May beginning in the spring when the garden comes alive and finishing with beautiful autumn colours. We have an effective water management programme for times of water restrictions. An occasional wedding is held through the winter months
• The venue is exclusively yours for three hours which allows time for the ceremony and those special photographs. During this time music will continue to play and you may choose to have drinks and celebrate with family and friends.
• We are able to provide a Cocktail Reception as we are fully licensed.
We cannot provide a formal sit down reception.
• If you are having your ceremony and photographs with us we can
open a bar and provide drinks, charged at reasonable prices.
Platters are also available.
• We will coordinate your day and with the benefit of years of experience we will assist to plan your wedding. Wedding packages are available at the time of your appointment providing extra information to assist in the planning of your day.

• Flowers from the garden, co-ordinated with your choice of colours, are used to decorate the
garden sanctuary and the signing table.
• White wedding chairs are arranged on the lawn to provide seating with decorations displayed in the aisle for the ceremony, you may also wish to use rose petals or red carpet.
• Outdoor umbrellas are also used for warmer days.
• There is the opportunity to have the music of your choice, pre-recorded or live, for your ceremony. Our PA system provides great sound within a garden amphitheatre and we will coordinate the music on the day for you.
• The ambience of the garden including the water features, fountain and streams, are in operation throughout the duration of your occasion.
• We will welcome your guests on their arrival at Nanga Gnulle and assist with parking of cars. On lookers are welcome but parking is restricted for guests only.
• We do not self cater or self hire as we like to be able to provide everything for you.
• You are asked to book your wedding practice in the week prior to your wedding day
• We can cater comfortably for any number, up to a maximum of 100 guests
• Accommodation is available in one of our two mud brick cottages on your wedding night.
Our Wedding couples stay with us at no charge if you have your ceremony and cocktail
reception at Nanga Gnulle.
If yours is ceremony only then a reduced tariff of 25% applies
• There are two large dams on the property so for safety reasons we have a no children policy between the ages of 2-12 unless the children are involved in the wedding ceremony or children close to the bridal couple. Considerations will be made upon request if you would like to invite other children
Financial Arrangements
Ceremony Venue Hire
·The all inclusive hire charge is for 3 hours from the nominated time of the wedding.
3 hrs = $1200
·Ceremony deposit = 50%
·The bar can also be opened after the ceremony for 2 hrs at $15 pp
·Platters are available, large platter (replenished) $100
Non refundable deposit
·A non refundable deposit is payable at the time of booking and the balance is due and payable one week prior to the date of the wedding
Cocktail Reception
·$90 pp 4hrs 2011
·Ceremony/Reception deposit = 25%
·Prices include your ceremony and reception - no venue hire
Minimum number 40 people
Transferring your wedding date
·If you wish to transfer your wedding date within 6 month's of the date an additional deposit is required.
·If we are able to rebook the original date the original deposit will be refunded.
·If the original date cannot be re booked the original deposit is forfeited.
·Prices are subject to change without notice
·If payment is made by credit card there will be a surcharge of 1.65%
·Please make an appointment to inspect our facilities and discuss your day with us.
The Weather
·With inclement weather on the day of your wedding the ceremony can be held in our beautiful Garden Sanctuary, a fully enclosed Wedding Chapel with panoramic views of the garden through four walls of glass.Nanga Gnulle management reserves the right to hold the ceremony indoors if there is a risk to guests or staff members.
·A heat policy is in place for the health and well being of your guests and Nanga Gnulle staff members.
·If your wedding day is 35 degrees or above the ceremony will be held indoors.
